Our apprenticeship scheme has been a real success with the two original recruits, Jake Hankins and Tom Astle, now established as vital team members in the workshop, and the third appointment, Megan Young, working very effectively as a key part of the commercial department.

Meg talks about her role in detail, and gives some encouraging advice to other females thinking about a career in the highways’ sector, in one of our recent videos (Click here). Meanwhile, Tommy Wing is the latest apprentice to join the company, working in the workshop and focusing on HGVs.

MD Darren Stokes has been really pleased with how Tripod Crest’s apprenticeship scheme is developing and evolving: “Much has been said in the industry about the importance of investing in people, training and in the skills needed for the sector to capitalise on the potential that exists for growth. The calibre of young employees coming into our business is fantastic, and for us to be able to support them as they develop within Tripod Crest is great for everyone involved.”
