Jo will be responsible for policies, processes and procedures covering operational quality control and embracing IT, human resources, marketing and health & safety compliance. As a senior member of the management team, Jo’s remit is to contribute to the company’s growth and profitability along with the overall running of the business. Jo has over 10 years’ experience of the construction industry, which includes working in a number of roles at Aggregate Industries before joining Tripod Crest last year. Jo believes construction is a great sector to work in: “Construction is a vital part of UK plc. I love being part of something so tangible and working with so many different clients and partners. I am really excited about my new role and having a greater responsibility for the company’s future development.”
Managing director Darren Stokes commented: “Jo is a highly valued member of the team. She has a passion for the sector and an understanding of our world which means she is held in high regard by colleagues and customers alike. Her gender is irrelevant in many ways, but given our recent commitment to CIHT’s Diversity & Inclusion Charter, it is good to be able to deliver in real ways.
“We are keen to recruit more women which will hopefully be that much easier as we increase the number of female role models within the business.”
