Nigel is really pleased with the new intake, commenting: “It is great to see new talent coming into the business. These people have brought related skills with them which means they have quickly become both effective operators as well as strong team players. The end result is the development of a fresh breed of specialists who have an appetite to develop their careers in what is a challenging but interesting sector. We are providing thorough training and support for all these individuals, on which they are thriving, and we look forward to them being part of a wider team that can take the company forward into the next decade and beyond.”

Kyle Storer is the newest recruit. He was a skip driver and is now learning to operate a 2m planer. Guy Gilchrist was previously a kitchen fitter and is now foreman in a 2m planer gang, working alongside another recent joiner, screwman Wayne Leeson, who came from Hammonds furniture. 2m planer operator Luke Summers worked as a tyre fitter, and screwman Nathan Bailey used to be a builder. The list continues. Tom Pember moved across from the world of landscape gardening. Foreman Ryan Mitchell came from housebuilding and Sean Potter from retail.
